US Press Release - US Condems Assassination of Turkish General
The United States condemns the recent assassination of the Commander of
the Turkish Army, and at the same time we cannot support Israel's
provocative language regarding Turkish behavior. We recognize both
allies as strong and influential forces in the War on Terror, and we
urge both forces to stand down their recent escalation of force.
