Turkey Press Release - Request for UN Investigation

The Turkish Prime Minister is calling on the UN to conduct an independent investigation into the incident involving the Turkish and Israeli navies.    The Turkish government reiterates that the INS Eilat was in Turkish territorial water and is confident that an independent investigation will confirm the Turkish government was justified in defending its territorial integrity.
