EU Press Release - EU Expresses Alarm About Situation Between Israel and Turkey

The European Union views the increasingly hostile situation between Israel and Turkey with alarm and urges restraint on all sides. The EU fully supports the UN investigation into the cause of the hostilities and urges both sides to enter mediations, which is EU is willing to broker.  The EU is not taking sides in this situation and does not support any action that may escalate the situation.  Any and all positions taken by the EU will be communicated exclusively through official EU channels.
